Credits earned through the Annex can transfer to a home high school and record on a student’s transcript. The Annex also offers classes that count as both high school and college credit, often referred to as "double dip". Students enrolled in a double dip course can circumvent the stressful end-of-the-year Advanced Placement exams. The transfer credits earned at the Annex work as AP credits do and can replace projected classes for a student’s freshman college year.
The curriculum offered through the Annex spans a breadth of disciplines taught in local high schools: English, mathematics, writing, personal health, history, foreign language, biology, chemistry, and physics. Classes are available for students in grades nine through twelve. Contact the Program Director at the Annex for a complete list of classes and course descriptions.
Inquiries about curriculum and services are fielded by the Program Director at (541) 968-6502. The Annex offers rolling registration, and students may begin study after an initial conference and receipt of curriculum materials. Enrollment is limited, and priority is given to previously enrolled students.
